Common questions

How do I create a group?

Open the Groups tab → tap the + in the top corner → give the group a name and short description → invite members by username or by sharing the invite link.

How do I post a prayer to my private group only?

From the home tab tap New Prayer. Select your group from the audience picker before posting. Set your default audience under Profile → Privacy.

How do I post anonymously?

Turn on Incognito posting under Profile → Privacy. Public prayers you post will hide your name. Other group members will still see your name on prayers posted to a private group.

How do I report a prayer or mute someone?

Long-press the prayer (or tap the ⋯ menu) and choose Report or Mute user. Reported content is reviewed by group guardians. Muted users disappear from your feed everywhere in the app.

I'm not getting notifications

Open iOS Settings → VeriPray → Notifications and confirm Allow Notifications is on. Then in VeriPray go to Profile → Notifications and check that the categories you want are enabled. If you set quiet hours, notifications are silenced inside that window.

How do I change my profile picture?

Profile → tap your avatar → choose a photo from your library. The first time you do this, iOS will ask permission to access your photo library.

How do I delete my account?

Inside the app: Profile → scroll to the bottom → Delete account. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm. Or follow the full instructions at veripray-web.vercel.app/delete-account.

I lost access to my account
