Terms of Service
Welcome to VeriPray. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language because we don't believe in burying things in legalese.
1. Who can use VeriPray
You must be at least 13 years old to use VeriPray. If you're between 13 and the age of legal consent in your country, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password safe. Don't share your account with other people. If something looks wrong with your account, email us right away.
3. What you post
You own what you post. By posting on VeriPray, you grant us a limited license to store it, display it to the audience you chose (your group, the public community, or only you), and show it back to you.
4. Community guidelines
VeriPray is a place for sincere prayer and supportive community. Don't use it to:
- Harass, threaten, or bully other users.
- Post hateful content directed at people based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Post sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content that exploits minors.
- Spam, scam, advertise, or solicit money.
- Impersonate other people or organizations.
- Share private information about other people without their consent.
- Post anything illegal.
If you see something that violates these rules, use the in-app report feature. We review reports and will remove content and/or accounts when warranted.
5. Group guardians
If you create a private group, you become its guardian. As a guardian you're responsible for moderating the content posted in your group. We may also remove content from any group at our discretion if it violates these terms.
6. Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Profile → Delete account). We can also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, usually after a warning unless the violation is severe.
7. Prayer is not professional advice
VeriPray is for prayer and community support. It is not a substitute for medical, mental health, financial, or legal advice. If you're in crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or an emergency line in your country.
8. The app is provided "as is"
We do our best to keep VeriPray reliable and secure, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that it will be free from bugs. You use the app at your own risk. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, VeriPray and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (which, since the app is free, is $0).
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you in the app. Continued use of VeriPray after the change means you accept the new terms.
