Delete your account
You can delete your VeriPray account at any time, directly from inside the app or by emailing us.
Option 1 — From inside the app (recommended)
- Open VeriPray and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account again.
Your account, your prayers, your comments, your personal prayer board, your group memberships, your notification settings, and your push notification token will all be removed within a few seconds.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't get into the app, email keepr.contact@gmail.com from the email address you used to sign up. Tell us you want your account deleted. We'll confirm your identity and delete it within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, profile picture).
- Every prayer you've posted in private groups and the public community.
- Every comment you've left.
- Your personal prayer board.
- Your saved/bookmarked prayers and custom categories.
- Your group memberships and any pending invitations.
- Your notification settings and push notification token.
What stays
If you posted prayers anonymously to the public community, the prayer text itself remains visible (with no name attached) so other users' replies and "I prayed" counts aren't broken. If you would like specific anonymous prayers removed too, let us know in your deletion email and we'll take care of it.
Can I get my data back?
No. Deletion is permanent. If you want a copy of what you posted, take screenshots before you delete your account, or email us a request first.
